"The worth of a book is to be measured by what you can carry away from it."*
A few books (some I've mentioned in the past) have been released on the topic of debt among younger Americans these days:
- Generation Debt: Why Now Is A Terrible Time To Be Young by Anya Kamenetz, contributor to the Village Voice. Here's the book site: GenDebt the book.
- Gener@tion Debt:Take Control of Your Money--A How-to Guide by Carmen Wong Ulrich, former Money magazine editor. Here's the book site: GenDebt. (We're namechecked on page 18.)
- Strapped: Why America's 20- and 30-Somethings Can't Get Ahead by Tamara Drout of Demos.
I haven't had a chance to check them out yet, but I plan to do so soon.
